This is a poster I saw on Broadway and rescued from those sad basards
that constitute the City of Sydney Council graffiti removal squad.




Now. I haven't felt compelled the go to a dance night in Sydney since
Pirate Copy was on, and that was about two years ago. I would have no
reservations about traveling many hundreds of kilometers to go to a
night that was advertised with a poster as wonderful as this one.

Too bad we missed it.

Ok. Text only post this time. I have been meaning to share THIS radio program with you scumbags for ages. It's been a huge part of my life these last two months and I imagine It'll be an even bigger part in the next six months as I grind away over the drawing desk trying to belt out my thesis. Have a listen next time you're doing some boring Photoshop task, tidying your room, or drawing pictures of shoddy-looking penises. I recommend the Houses of Ill Repute episode.

Do be warned though. Despite being the best radio show in the world, it does get a bit whiny. If you listen to it for too long you'll feel like a queer jewish artist from Chicago.

My prediction is that streaming radio is going to rock anyone-with-a-brain's world very very soon and people will be wishing they had spent the last six years doing some shit-kicking job with their local community radio station rather than pushing their energy into other fringe media like "zines" or "underground comix" or "The Sydney Morning Herald".

Most emails that are entitled 'this is really funny' or 'you
should check this out' are a bit of a let down. Every now and
then however, one lands in your inbox that is so good that you
can't imagine how you got through life before it arrived. This
was one of those emails. Thanks nark.
